- I speak on social media and cause marketing, specifically as it relates to non-profits.

- I organized the Emerging Church Discussion Group in Charlotte, NC, for five years.
- I helped organize (and participated in various discussions at) the Emergent Southeast regional gathering in October 2008.
- I organized and led a panel discussion on blogging—with DJ Chuang, Stephen Shields, Will Samson, and Nick Ciske—at the Internet Evangelism for the 21st Century conference, held at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, April 2005.
