29.12.2011

In the discussion of participatory church, I find it really fascinating that there are really two conversations about radical shifts in culture going on right now that share some of the same language but apply them in different ways. 13.12.2011

There’s been a lot of great comments shared in response to my initial post “Are We on the Verge of Participatory Church?” including some great follow-up posts from Rachelle Mee-Chapman, Adam Copeland, and Dave Owen-O’Quill. 02.12.2011

Missional Conversations with … Bob Cornwall

In this conversation, Bob and I discuss Tony Jones’ new book The Church Is Flat, and Bob unpacks some of the history of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and how it relates to this missional moment we are living in right now.

My Pilgrimage to Glorieta

06.11.2011

After a decade of Emergent gatherings in Glorieta, New Mexico, I finally was able to make the pilgrimage this year. We spent three days (Oct. 5-7) in “open space” sessions, led by participants who stepped up to volunteer and lead discussions about topics of interest.
